I do agree that swim shoes is a really good idea and I was sorry I didn't have them. I want to say it was under 25 bucks. It turned out to be a highlight of our trip. Wear water shoes though! We stumbled on this beach that turned out to be the best free snorkel experience for us the very beginning snorkellers (never snorkel before and only had 1 snorkel tour days ago), the water is very clear, even standing in knee-high water we saw quite few fishes swimmers around. Several different surf schools operate out of the bay but the one operating here for the longest is Kahaluu Surf and Sea (see below).
