MG Apparel was founded as a project of Mahmood Group of Industries. Situated in the heart of the cotton belt of South Punjab, our aim is to revolutionize apparel manufacturing with a focus on sustainability, digitalization, and women's empowerment.

2022.

A Year of Sustainable Milestones

LEED Platinum Certification: Our state-of-the-art facility earned LEED Platinum certification with a score of 87 points, underscoring our commitment to environmental responsibility.
Renewable Energy Initiatives: Installation of 2 MW solar panels, generating approximately 7,000 kWh daily, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

Community-Centric Milestones

Workforce Development: Achieved a milestone with 75% of our workforce comprising women, creating extensive employment opportunities in South Punjab.
Lighthouse Project: Introduced the Lighthouse initiative, encompassing programs like Nisaab (digital literacy) and Beena (skill enhancement), empowering over 793 women through various workshops.

Global Recognition and Innovation

International Expansion: Participated in the Kingpins Show in Amsterdam, unveiling our 'Inside/Out' Spring/Summer 2024 collection, emphasizing self-expression and sustainable fashion.
Science Based Targets Initiative: Our near term targets were officially validated by SBTi.
