December 11, 2023MG Apparel has received the Diamond category in the Women Empowerment & Gender Diversity Recognition Award 2024 accolade, awarded by the Employers’ Federation of Pakistan. This award showcases our unexceptionable commitment to creating a workplace that is inclusive, diverse and a source of empowerment for women.
This award recognizes the relentless efforts that we have made with regards to empowering women in multiple ways. This includes providing equal career opportunities, implementing policies that support work-life balance, fostering a culture of inclusion, and actively promoting women’s leadership within our organization.
In the past, MG Apparel received the prestigious Gender Diversity Award 2022 granted by a collaboration between the International Finance Corporation, UK Aid and Pakistan Business Council. We have incorporated a 75% female workforce, positioning our organization as the first of its kind in the region of South Punjab to empower women in corporate at this scale.
At MG Apparel, women are provided abundant opportunities to propel their career growth. We conduct a number of workshops and sessions to help women develop leadership skills, which gives them an opportunity not just to excel professionally but focus on personal development.
